These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Merge Music website and participation in our events, including open mic sessions, concerts, and workshops. By using our site or attending our events, you agree to these Terms.

1. Event Participation

• Merge Music events are open to kids and teens as performers. Parents/guardians may be required to accompany younger children.

• Registration and audition submissions must be accurate and truthful.

• We reserve the right to refuse participation if a performance is deemed inappropriate or unsafe.

2. Performer Guidelines

• All performances must be family-friendly and suitable for a public audience.

• Performers must arrive on time and follow event guidelines provided before and during the event.

• Limited spaces are available; selection is based on audition submissions.

3. Code of Conduct

• All participants, parents, and attendees must behave respectfully.

• Bullying, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour will result in removal from the event.

• Attendees must follow venue rules (including food, seating, and safety guidelines).

4. Ticketing & Fees

• Some events may require a registration or participation fee, which will be clearly outlined in event promotions.

• Refund policies vary per event and will be specified upon booking.

5. Media & Photography Policy

• Photos and videos may be taken during Merge Music events.

• No child’s face will be used in promotional materials unless a parent or guardian has given explicit consent.

• If consent is not given, images will be taken from angles that do not clearly show a child’s face, or they will be blurred.

• Group or crowd shots where individuals are not easily identifiable may be used.

• Parents who do not wish for their child to be photographed at all must inform us in writing before the event.

6. Liability Disclaimer

• Merge Music is not responsible for any personal injuries, loss, or damage to personal property during events.

• Parents/guardians are responsible for their children at all times.

7. Website Use & Intellectual Property

• All website content (text, logos, images) is owned by Merge Music and cannot be copied or used without permission.

• You may not use our website for any illegal or unauthorised activities.

8. Changes to Terms

• We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website.
