Next Wave

Next Wave is a new platform for emerging musicians in the Northern Rivers.

Created by Merge Music, the program aims to support the next generation of artists by providing opportunities to perform live, connect with mentors, and develop confidence through music.

Inspired by the spirit of artist discovery platforms such as Bluesfest Buskers, Next Wave will create supportive performance spaces where young musicians can step forward and be heard.

Next Wave will include:

• live emerging artist showcases

• industry feedback and mentorship

• development opportunities

• a final showcase event celebrating new talent
